CCD psalm – here is the Psalm we wrote together last Sunday with a few (very few) minor tweaks, enjoy!
Community Church Dundee Psalm
Written Sunday 28th June 2009
GOD, your goodness, faithfulness and love are overwhelming,
The varied colours of your creation are wonderfully inspiring,
Though the world keeps on changing you are always there you call us to walk with you, we are never alone.YOUR voice is Holy, powerful, true.
When clouds fill the sky, when faith is low and doubts surround us fill us with your wisdom and love.
Bring us to your tent, cause our hearts to listen, weak as we are,
We are here with youYour face shines on us like a ray of light breaking through stormy skies,
In the darkest of places set us free to remember your love,
Deliver us!
When sickness and trouble strike, remind us who you are.O LORD come to us, lift us up.
Bring us joy.
Cause us to become who you created us to be,
We praise you because you hear us, answer us, help us.
We praise you for diversity as we worshipHELP us to love you,
We sing a song of love to you,
A celebratory song of Joy to our Father of love, of grace, of faithfulness.
