What’s happening when…

Here’s when everything’s happening.

Remember, unless it’s a meal, our gathering for coffee starts at 10am. and we aim to start whatever comes next at 10:30am so please bear this in mind if it’s relevant to anything you’re doing . It’s an important part of our values that we make time for intentional conversations – so please try to be there by 10. The coffee is not a ‘warm up’ or ‘filler’ for us before the meeting ‘starts!’ No, our conversations and sharing together over tea and coffee is a very important part of our sharing life together. If it’s a meal, can you come at 11, this allows us time for coffee and set up so we can eat at 11.30.

The Host HG is responsible for setting up* and hosting* the service. The worship* is for you too and so are the 2 sunday schools (1 for the younger kids and one for the older ones). Feel free to include as many people as you want, including from other groups.

*Hosting means ‘stitching the gathering together’ – getting us started after coffee, helping the various things that are happening flow together and summarising what God’s saying as appropriate.

*Worship means preparing something that will help people connect with God in worship. Can be liturgy, can be using songs, or silence, or…

*Setting up means setting up the hall/room we’re meeting in (setting out the chairs etc.), setting up the coffee/tea and providing milk and any eats. Early start!  Remember to collect the keys from whoever was on set up the week before, or collect the keys from Joe & Chris.
